Natalie Ata is an environmental graphic designer with over 20 years of experience in architecture and visual communication design. She practices at the intersection of graphic design and the built environment, creating thoughtful, experience-driven solutions for healthcare, education, workplace, and recreational spaces.
Natalie’s approach is both creative and analytical, grounded in curiosity and a commitment to understanding each client’s goals. Deeply connected to Cleveland’s architecture and design community, her professional journey has included roles at Process Creative Studios, Guide Studio, and Perspectus Architecture.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan’s Taubman College and a Master of Arts in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University, where she taught as an adjunct instructor. Natalie is an active guest lecturer, SEGD member, traveler, and runner who believes in experiencing the world firsthand.
She works seamlessly with architects, interior designers, and planners—ensuring visual systems align with the broader project vision.
Natalie pairs her understanding of spatial design—planning, scale, and materiality—with the visual language of typography, color, and composition to create engaging, purposeful environments.
